Call for papers

Participants are invited to contribute papers to ICAAI 2014. There are both oral and poster presentations. Oral presentations comprise both invited and selected papers. Authors are required to submit a short abstract (a maximum of 250 words) and a full paper (Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion and References) in English including figures, tables and photos in Microsoft Word. The guidelines for abstract and paper submissions for oral and poster presentations are available at

Full paper submitted to ICAAI2014 conference must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under responsibility of the authors). ICAAI2014 conference has paper submission in journals as follows.

1. International Food Research Journal  (60 selected papers only)

The International Food Research Journal (IFRJ),, published four times a year, publishes papers in English reporting the results of original research in the following areas:

  • Food science, food technology and food biotechnology
  • Product development and sensory evaluation
  • Food habits, nutrition, food health and food safety
  • Food chemistry, food microbiology, analysis and testing
  • Food quality management

IFRJ is an Open Access, peer-reviewed online scientific journal published by Faculty of Food Science & Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia, UPM. It is now indexed in SCOPUS, EBSCO, CHEMICAL ABSTRACT, ProQuest, CABI & AGRICOLA

Note: The author will be charged for the PDF preparation and editing, RM 70 per manuscript (840 THB, RM 1.00 = 12.00 THB).


2. Journal of Food and Agricultural Technology

Journal of Food and Agricultural Technology (JFAT) is a research journal planned to publish three issues a year. The journal will consider submissions from all over the world, on original basic and applied researches not being published as research paper and review article. The papers will be published in English. The subject covered by JFAT includes, but not limited to; all aspects of food, agricultural science and technology in the following areas:

  • Food Science and Technology
  • Food Safety and Management
  • Food Packaging and Materials
  • Health-Promoting Bioactive Compounds in Foods
